New projects....Yeah!!!!

I finally got a chance to play around a bit with some new ideas I've discovered. Beate has a great little Mini Photo Book Tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. I tried it out and I love it!! The instructions were easy to follow. I used the Jersey Shore Designer Paper and chipboard coasters. This project is easy to put together and too cute!

Flappy Scrappy Book

This book is my favorite project to date. I made this for my upline's event in April and I just love it. I demonstrated a 3x3 version for the sake of time, but the 6x6 version has the biggest WOW factor. The first book shown is the 4x4 size, this one if perfect for keeping in your purse or in your desk drawer at work. The second picture shows the inside of the 4x4. The third picture shows a few different designs of the 4x4, and the last picture is the inside of the 3x3 version that I demonstrated in April at my Ann Lightner's event. The last book is the best one of all, I used Berry Bliss DSP and Pretty in Pink CS. I really love how this turned out, not only do I love pink and chocolate, but I was able to get a fairly recent event scrapbooked! Sofia is my 2 1/2 year old and she is in love with horses. So for her 2nd birthday, I had a cowgirl party for her. This book really showcased the party and the Berry Bliss paper was just perfect. This book takes quite a bit of paper, but it is worth the time and effort. I did not design this project, I found it when looking though the Tart and Tangy samples and I had to try it. The possibilities are endless! To see all of Stampin' Up!'s wonderful Designer Series Paper click here

June Class

I can't believe it is the second week of June already! My next class is Friday June 10th and I really like the projects we are doing. I attended an upline meeting in April that really got me motivated to get more active and create more projects. I did my spin on the clear envelope brag book and an accordian brag book. I love the idea of a project that is easy to make yet makes you smile. The envelope brag book is great for giving as a gift, and it takes hardly any time to make. My book from the upline meeting and the book for my class do not have any pages to scrap on the inside, just 4x6 pictures. I am working on a book that has smaller pictures so I can decorate the pages.
The accordian book is my favorite, it just makes summer jump out at you. I used the East Coast Prep DSP for the base of the book and Life's a Breeze stamp set to embellish. I think it turned out really cute and I got some scrapbooking of my daughter done.
I hope you enjoy looking at my projects and ideas, I look forward to getting this blog going..so have patience with me...I am finally getting brave enough to tackle doing a blog getting my ideas out there! Thanks for looking..have a great day!
