A Pretty Pink Flower

When I first saw the new Occasions Mini Catalog, I fell in love with the new punches.  The flower punch and matching stamp set give an amazing amount of options!  When I first sat down to make something, I was a blank at first because of the endless possibilities.  So, for my first card I used colors that I tend to use a lot, pink pirouette, pretty in pink, certainly celery and so saffron.

The flower petals were stamped in pretty in pink on pink pirouette, the bottom layer of petal are just pretty in pink card stock without stamping.  I built the flower on a circle I punched out and used glue dots to adhere the petals.  The base of the card is embossed with the new tulip embossing folder to frame out the flower.  I love how easy the whole thing came together.  I see lots of flower cards in my future, especially for Mother's Day!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I have another petal cone project in the works right now and some fabric items that I'll be sharing soon.  If you need any supplies, you can shop on my Demonstrator Business Website HERE.

Petal cone potpourri

Today I'd like to share a project using the petal cone die cut from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I made a cone to filled with potpourri to hang on a door knob.  This die cut has so  many uses!   I thought this particular project would be a great door prize for my stamp club since Valentine's Day is around the corner.

I used a little bit of tulle that I had to tie up some rose scented potpourri and tucked it inside the petal cone.  I think this would be a lovely favor to give at a bridal shower.

I hope you like this idea, I have lots more to try out with the petal cone die cut.  Please visit again to see what I've come up with!

Valentines

Today I have a bunch of pics to share.  I made a couple of valentine cards for my stamp club and I have pics of Sofia in her birthday crown.  First I'll show you the valentines.  I really love the new Valentine Defined set in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I haven't really used Melon Mambo much, so I pulled it out for flamingos...a perfect fit!

This one is my favorite though, I love the embossing folders and the polka dot background in the Melon Mambo really looks fantastic.

Here are a couple pics of Sofia, she really enjoyed her birthday.  She is such a girly girl..you'll see what I mean!

She got lip gloss from her Aunt Sureyya and of course HAD to put it on that very second! :)
And so I don't leave Benjamin out, here is a picture of my other cutie who is 1 1/2 now.

Well, thanks so much for stopping by.  If you need supplies, you can shop on my Demonstrator Business Website 24/7, just click HERE

Sofia's Birthday Crown

Happy New Year everyone!!  I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season!  We were quite busy at my house, my 5 year old asked about when Santa was coming at least 5 times a day!  We are now back to the status quo here, so I can finally get more time to STAMP!

The project I'd like to share with you today is from Sofia's 5th birthday that she just had at the beginning of December.  She is really into the princesses and fairies right now so she wanted to be a fairy princess.  So, I made her a princess crown using the pennant die cut and a few other things.  I saw this idea on Stampin' Connection awhile ago, I do not know who to give credit for the idea, let's just say she is super talented..thank you who ever you are!

Sofia just adores her crown, she wore it every day for a couple of weeks until I retired it to her dresser so it wouldn't get torn up.  I made a party favor to match using the party favor die cut that I swapped for (thank you) and I also did a matching cupcake die cut (another swap, thank you).    Here is a closer look at the scallop design in the center of the crown.
I used retired DSP and several punches and die cuts to make this, it was definitely something that took some time, as I wanted it to be perfect!  If a lot of people are interested in seeing how this was made, I will consider doing a tutorial.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate it!  If you need any supplies, please visit my Stampin' Up! business website HERE.
