Christmas Wishes

As I've said before, I love the Scentsational Season Bundle.  I recently made a card using both new and retired products, including the tree from Scentsational Season.

The greeting and the Designer Series Paper are both retired, but everything else is current.  I added embossing on the base of the card with the Petals-a-Plenty EF and added the Lacy Brocade EF to the Christmas tree.  The greeting is cut out with the Labels Collection Framelits, I just die cut one portion then moved the die cut to make it a smaller cut out.  I will show you a tutorial in the future to better explain.
This is my last Christmas sample, I am looking forward to using my new items that will be available for purchase staring January 2. I am also going to try out my Sale-a-bration goodies that I just got (one of the many perks to being a demonstrator!).  So be sure to check back to see what I've been up to!

Two Tags Nugget Treats

Another cute project with the Two Tags die cut is a little nugget treat.  I love wrapping Hershey Nuggets with Designer Series Paper and packaging them up to give away.  Super easy and super cute.  The Two Tags die gives another great option for giving nugget treats.

All you need is one die cut tag per nugget.  I score the tag at 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 the fold on the score lines.  I wrap the nugget with a piece of DSP cut to 1" by 2 3/4".  Use a little piece of sticky strip to adhere the nugget to the bottom of the scored tag.  Then use one more piece of sticky strip to seal the top of the tag together, then embellish the front.  I used the great hostess set Mixed Medley that is in the current Holiday Catalog and the gingerbread man from Scentsational Season.

Thanks for stopping by.  Check back for a few more Christmas items before I start showing the preview items from the new Spring Catalog that starts January 2.

Rudolph and His Shiny Red Nose

I finally got the two tags die cut and I have had so much fun with it!!  This is such a cute idea I saw on Pinterest.  It's Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer with candy canes for antlers!

I am a big fan of easel cards, so when I saw the idea for doing an easel with the Two Tags die cut, I knew it would be on my to do list! Here is the side view:

Isn't he cute?!  I used the shimmer red paper for the nose (of course) and the greeting.  It was a really simple project, mostly punches plus the die cutting.  The face of Rudolph is two of the the tag die cuts glued together just around the edges to make a pocket for the candy canes.  If you wanted to do this project and needed to mail it, you could just do one die cut for the face and use the candy cane die cut from the Scentsational Season Bundle for antlers.

I hope you like my version of Rudolph! Thanks for stopping by!!

Gingerbread Magnetic Clothespins

If you visited my blog last Christmas, you saw that I LOVE making cute magnetic clothespins.  This year I did a cute set of Gingerbread men with some retired DSP.  Having the ability to die cut the stamped image just makes this project super appealing!  Easy to make multiples of this for cute gifts to give out.

I package them in the clear envelopes attached to card stock.  The back of each clip has two magnets, one at the top of the clip and one at the bottom.  I have found that hot glue works best to attach them and having two magnets helps give extra strength.  To see last year's clips go here and here.

A Flip Flop Gingerbread Man

I think this is my favorite card made with the Scentsational Season Bundle.  I just love the gingerbread man paired with polka dots and shimmery red and silver paper.  Talk about holiday spirit!!

When you pull the card, you expose the back of the die cut in the  middle as the card opens.

This card was inspired by a great tutorial on You Tube, just click here to go to the video. Cristy Butzen does a great job explaining how to make this really cool card. I have had a lot of fun making them and have a couple more to share with you after the holidays.

Thanks for visiting!

Scentsational Tags

As I said in my last post, I am loving the Scentsational Season bundle!  I have been doing lots of cards and added in some tags as well.  I used the Two Tags Die Cut as my base and just added some paper, ribbon and die cuts.

These are super easy to put together.  I did all my stamping at once and then die cut the images so I could quickly assemble a bunch of these tags for my Christmas gifts.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the fun fold card I made with the Gingerbread man from the Scentsational Season bundle.  It is super cute and sparkly to boot!!

Scentsational Cards

I must say that I love to make Christmas cards!  Stampin' Up! has made it easier than ever to make gorgeous cards to send to family and friends.  The new Scentsational Season stamp set and matching die cuts is my favorite holiday stamp set right now.  I love that I can have the super cute stamps die cut instead of me cutting them out with scissors...it's the best time saver!!  Here are a couple of cards I've done with this set.

This first card also features the Delicate Doilies Sizzlit and Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  I find myself using embossing folders on just about every card I make.  I just love the added texture.

This second card features the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder as well as the Chevron Embossing Folder.  I used the Labels Collection for the greeting and added paper piercing around the edge.  All the little details come together to make a super cute card!!

I have been working on gift tags with the Scentsational Season Bundle and the Two Tags die cut.  It is a really cute way to add a handmade touch to Christmas gifts.

Thanks for stopping by.  I will share the tags with you as I finish them.
