Festive Flurry for CCMC268

It's Thursday again and time for a new Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! This week I have a fun card using the new Festive Flurry.  Before I show you my card, let's look at the colors.

And here is the flip card I made.

This is my first card using the new Flip Thinlet and I love it!  So much fun and so much easier than the flip cards I have done in the past.  Here's the details:

1.  Cut a card base of Soft Sky with the Circle Flip Thinlet.  My card stock measured 5 1/2" x 6".

2.  I cut Whisper White card stock with the thinlet as well so I could add stamped panels to the card.  I didn't have any DSP in Soft Sky, so I made my own with the snowflakes.

3.  I cut two Wisteria Wonder circles using the Circles Framelits and added one to each side of the flipping circle.    I also stamped a Wisteria Wonder snowflake on Whisper White and used the scalloped circle die that came with the Flip Thinlet.  Added a bit of bling to the snowflake with a Frosted Finishes embellishment.

4.  The greetings are from A Banner Christmas.  The word Christmas was stamped with Wisteria Wonder and die cut with a framelit from Bitty Banners.  I stamped JOY with Pistachio Pudding and hand cut each letter so they were separate.  I adhered them to the bottom right with dimensionals.

5.  For a final touch, I added rhinestone gems to the center of the Soft Sky snowflakes on my homemade DSP.  And that's it!

This was such a fun card to make, I hope you will join in!  To find out more about this week's challenge and see more samples, go to Create with Connie and Mary.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Come back tomorrow for this week's Flashback Friday!
