Festive Flurry for TSSC281

It's Monday and time for a new Lunchtime Sketch Challenge from Mary Jo at Technostamper.  She has another great sketch this week, I took one look and knew just what I wanted to do!

This sketch has so many possibilities!  I went with Festive Flurry since I got the new Silver 1/8" ribbon and needed a reason to use it!

Isn't this set just great with the sketch!  I think these colors, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party are just gorgeous together and perfect for snowflakes.  Let me walk you through the basic details.

1.  Chose the new Winter Frost DSP pack as my starting point.  Went with Pool Party as my card base and Bermuda Bay as the accent color.

2.  Added a layer of the DSP to the front of my card along with a strip of Bermuda Bay measuring 1 3/4" x 4".  The silver ribbon was tied onto the Bermuda Bay before I adhered it to the card.

3.  Stamped two snowflakes, the larger one in Bermuda Bay, the smaller in Pool Party.  I fussy cut these because I liked having less white card stock showing around the edges.  I used dimensionals to stack them on the left side of the Bermuda Bay card stock.

4.  Lastly, I added the finishing touches.  A Frosted Finishes Embellishment was put on top of the snowflakes which looked great next to the silver ribbon.  Also added in the greeting from the Hostess set Express Yourself.  I stamped Celebrate with Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and die cut it with the largest banner from Bitty Banners Framelits.  I cut off the right side of the banner to match the sketch and added it to my card with SNAIL.

And that's it!  I really love this card, looks very elegant to me.  You can see cards made by other members of the design team by clicking on the links below.  I hope you will play along with the sketch challenge this week, just go to Technostamper to find out more and to link up your card!
