Festival of Trees

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  This week we have a great sketch to work with.

I made a Festival of Trees card with frosty colors inspired by the All is Calm Designer Paper.

The Lost Lagoon card base has light stamping of the snowflake from Letterpress Winter.  I didn't want it to be too plain, but I also didn't want it to be too busy.

 All is Calm Designer Paper makes up the next part of the design.  A polka dot circle and strip of Smokey Slate trees look great against the darker Lost Lagoon card.

The Soft Sky tag was made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  A few snowflakes and sentiment from Cheerful Tags are stamped directly on the tag.  The tree from Festival of Trees is Basic Gray embossed with white.  A sparkly star add just the right touch of sparkle.  The finishing touch is a bit of 5/8" white organza ribbon and a rhinestone.
