A Birthday Card for TSSC284

It's Monday and time for a new Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge from Technostamper.  Here's a look at this week's great sketch.

I sat and thought about this one for a moment as I needed to decide about the DSP to use.  I decided on a birthday card using Birthday Basics DSP.

This was a really fun card to make!  The DSP is gorgeous, so I couldn't pick just one design!  I used Bermuda Bay for the card base.  I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock to 4"x 4 1/2" for the DSP to be layered on.  Each piece of DSP is 4 1/4" x 3/4".  Five pieces fit on just right.  I added a Cherry Cobbler banner, then my focal point.

The cupcake is from Create a Cupcake stamped on Very Vanilla Card stock.  The bottom of the cupcake is Smokey Slate, the top is Bermuda Bay and the ribbon stamp and cherry are Cherry Cobbler.  The cherry is punched out using the matching Cupcake Builder punch.  The last detail added was a birthday greeting at the bottom from Sweet Essentials that I stamped with Basic Gray.  I punched out the cupcake with the 1 3/4" circle punch then layered it on a Deco Label cut from Smokey Slate card stock.  And that's it!  Card complete!  I actually made two of these, that way I have one to put in the bookstore to sell and one to keep on hand to give away!

I hope you will join me and create a card of your own! You can see cards made by other members of the design team by clicking on the links below.  Go to Technostamper to find out more about participating and to link up your card!

You created such a fun card with your perfect choices of papers. They look wonderful and they are all pulled together by the focal image. Awesome job. Thanks for being such an important part of the TSSC team.
