Thank You in Bold Colors

Wow!  It's Saturday and the last day of the Spring Collection 2014 from Create with Connie and Mary.  I can't believe how fast it went by!  I had such a wonderful time being on the Design Team, a big Thank You to Connie and Mary for letting me be a part of it!!

So, on to the final Saturday Challenge.   We have a color challenge with Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Basic Black.

My card is an abstract style Thank You that features So Very Grateful from the Occasions Catalog.

The card base is Crushed Curry with a layer of Basic Black followed by a layer of Whisper White.  The first thing I added was the watercolor stamp from Happy Watercolor.

Next I worked on the focal point.  The flowers were stamped with StazOn Black then die cut with an Apothecary Accent Framelit.  The flowers and leaves were colored using ink pads and blender pens.  The flower in the center is colored the darkest with Bermuda Bay.  The leaves have a light touch of Bermuda Bay as well.  The rest of the flowers are done with Crushed Curry.  To bring out the colors, I added a circle of Basic Black using the Circle Framelits.  I also die cut a Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay circle.  The circles were offset to show more of their color.

Thank you was stamped in the lower left corner then bling added to complete the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Even though we have come to the end of the Spring Collection, you can still subscribe!   The tutorials are all available, just visit Create with Connie and Mary for more details.  See you next time!  Happy Stamping!

So pretty! Love the idea of stamping the image on the die!
