Today's share is all about pencil holders. I think this is such a cute idea...it is super versatile, you can use it for any holiday or event.
Here' a quick tutorial on how to make this cute pencil holder.
Start out with a piece of card stock measuring 7 3/4" x 4 5/8" . Score the 4 5/8" side at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".
I stamped my snowflake background with a stamp from Serene Snowflakes.
I used the white gel pen to add life to the snowflakes.
I used a sponge to add white craft ink to make it look like snow on the card stock.
To assemble the pencil holder, add sticky strip to the slender area created by the scoring and the bottom.
Here it is assembled.
I used my crimping tool to add dimension to the bottom.
I used the 1 1/4" circle punch to make a half circle at the top.
I added let it snow with a stamp from Punch Pals.
I stamped and colored in the penguin from Punch Pals using my versa marker and stamp pads.
Here is the completed pencil holder with ribbon and all the finishing details. It is really easy to make, and you can make a lot at once of you need to for a party favor or an event. Here is another one I made using my penguin made from the owl punch.
I love this one, the red really stands out against the crumb cake card stock. If you need supplies to make your own pencil holder, you can shop on my Stampin' Up! website HERE.
Thanks for stopping by to see my pencil holders. I have been working on lots of Christmas items and other goodies that I will be sharing in the days and weeks to come. My next share will be more about penguins...I am just loving penguins this year!
If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
