A Secret Garden Bridal Shower

I had a last minute order on Monday for bridal shower invites, so I haven't had a chance to make anything new.  Well, yesterday I STILL didn't get a chance to work in my craft room.  Busy day catching up on cleaning and had a couple errands to run.  So today's share will be the invite I made on Monday.  I used Secret Garden since it was for an April bridal shower.

The colors were to be in yellows and greens.  I chose to work with So Saffron and Certainly Celery.  The card base in So Saffron was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper EF.  I added in the doily with Certainly Celery leaves and the Daffodil flower.  To make the Your Invited stand out, I stamped it in Soft Suede and punched it out with the Modern Label punch.  I also punched out a layer of Certainly Celery to back the greeting.  Both the greeting and the flower were adhered with dimensionals.  The flower was heat embossed in white and water colored with an aqua painter and re-inkers.

The final touch on the flower was a pearl.  And that's it!  I needed 20 of these made in a day's time, so I left the flower as one dimensional instead of cutting out the center of a second flower to add in for height.  I love the soft spring look, perfect for a spring bridal shower!!

Thanks for stopping by! I plan on working in my craft room today, so check back tomorrow to see what I've been up to!

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
