Flashback Friday: By Air

Welcome to Flashback Friday!!  Today's featured stamp set is By Air from 2006.  I loved the collection of stamps that Stampin' Up! did back then.  They had By Air, By Land, and By Sea.  I collected them all thinking about all the cute things that could be made with them.  What's funny is I am just now using these sets!  They have been sitting on my shelf waiting patiently for their turn.  Now that I have a little boy and baby boy on the way, I have a feeling these sets will see more time off the shelf!
Here is the cute little birthday card I made using By Air.

This card is a blend of new and old products.  I used the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder for the blue card base, looks a bit like clouds.  The birds are from the current Up, Up and Away stamp set, they just fit perfectly with this card.  I punched out clouds with the 1 1/4 " circle punch and popped up the white layer with dimensionals.  The airplane and greeting are cut out by hand and put on dimensionals as well.  This was a really fun card to make, it came together quite quickly in fact!  I hope you enjoyed the flashback to 2006!
