It's Monday and we have a great new sketch for the week for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge over at Technostamper. Here's the great sketch Mary Jo gave the design team this week.

Lots of possibilities for this fun sketch. I had a couple different ideas, this is the one I went with.

I have been enjoying all the fabulous Sale-a-bration stamps, so I went with a Patterned Occasions card. The DSP is Sycamore Street and I used the coordinating In Color card stock. The jeans were chosen for a special reason. It hit me the other day that I have the background stamp Just Jeans from 2003, so I could make my jeans look like real jeans!! I used the Kissing Technique to transfer the jean design to my stamp. First, here is a close up picture of the jeans I stamped.

The technique is really simple. I simply inked the background stamp with Island Indigo ink, then pressed my jeans stamp to it.

The ink with the background image transfer to the stamp. I placed ink only along the bottom corner of the background stamp and placed the jeans against it so the words wouldn't get inked. Very simple, yet a great result! Real looking jeans!!

I paper pierced around the Island Indigo Label frame to add a little extra touch. The greeting was stamped in Island Indigo and die cut with the small banner from Bitty Banners Framelits. The larger banner in Lucky Limeade was also from the Bitty Banners. I also added jeans to the inside of the card, here's a look.
