Springtime Petal Cone Pouch

Today I am sharing a project that I did awhile ago, just haven't shared it yet!  It is something I plan on re-creating with current products.  It is a pouch made out of the petal cone die cuts.  This one was given as a hostess gift.

I used the Sale-a-bration set Bliss, it has such a lovely soft look.  The Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze were a perfect paring of colors.  I stamped on the crumb cake with Soft Suede ink to make the image darker, more noticeable.   The same image was stamped on the butterfly die cut in Baja Breeze.  Here's a close up of the butterfly.

The butterfly is two die cuts, the top one is folded a bit at the center to give dimension.  I added pearls and an antenna to the butterfly.  The antenna is a flower stamen that I got at the craft store.
I added a gift inside the pouch in a cello bag tied with Baja Breeze Seam Binding.

The gift was ribbon and different embellishments.  You could put just about anything in this petal cone pouch.  I hope you give this a try!  The petal cone die cut is such a versatile tool.  I haven't used in in awhile.  Seeing this project has given me new inspiration to make more projects with it to share!

Thanks for stopping by!  Tomorrow is the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge so check back to see a new sketch and sample!

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!!
