I love the banners on this sketch, they are so much fun on cards. I used a retired DSP, mainly because I love it. It was also perfect for the card I wanted to make. Here it is.
Don't you just love this DSP? So cute! I even used a color I haven't touched in forever, Perfect Plum. Here's the details.
1. Card base is Perfect Plum. DSP from Nursery Necessities cut at 3 3/4" x 4 1/4". Punched a border for the top and bottom of the DSP using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
2. Die cut a circle from Whisper White card stock. I used the 3 3/16" circle from the new Circle Framelits. It's the fourth one starting from the outside in. Paper pierced the outer edge of the circle free hand and stamped Hello, baby from Sweet Essentials with Wisteria Wonder ink.
3. Die cut banners from DSP using the smallest banner from Bitty Banners Framelits. Adhered them to the back of the circle. Adhered circle to the card stock.
4. Made an Oval Punch bow with DSP and adhered it under the sentiment.
And that's it, I hope you like it! I got an overwhelming response to my paper bows yesterday, so I am working on a tutorial to show you how I make them. I have already taken all the pictures and in the process of editing them. I would like to venture into doing videos, but I haven't given it a try yet. I have three little ones so my house isn't exactly quiet! Anyway, I will be posting the tutorial on Tuesday, so be sure to check back!
