I love the globe in this set, but I'm not quite ready to jump into Christmas cards yet. So I went with a fall look by adding in a stamp from HAPPY SCENES. This would be a wonderful shaker too, may have to do that for next week!
For today's card I envisioned the scene on the inside showing through the globe. I simply die cut the front of the card with the circle framelit from the SEASONAL FRAMES THINLITS that coordinate with SPARKLY SEASONS. It's one of the awesome bundles offered which is a great way to get products at a discount!
The scene is stamped with Soft Suede and colored with markers. I added in a little sponging as well to give a bit of green grass and blue sky. I added a small square of window sheet over the opening to give it more of a globe look. To make the inside of the card look nice and neat, I added washi tape along the edges so no adhesive showed. You can see a little peek of it in the second picture where I showed the inside.
When the card is closed, you can only see the fall scene. The sentiment ends up a surprise when you open the card.
