Love is in the Air

Happy Valentine's Day!!  I have a perfect card to share with you today since love is in the air!  A BALLOON BUILDERS Valentine!

Ballon Builder Valentine becreativewithnicole

This was such a fun and easy Valentine to create!  A quick one layer card that just requires a little sponging and stamping!

I stamped soft Blushing Bride heart balloons all over the card then sponged clouds in the background around them.  I wanted light and airy strings so I used the fine tip on my Pool Party marker to draw them in.

See...I told you this was a quick one!  If you still have a couple of last minute Valentine's to make this one is the way to go!  Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

Party Animal

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week we are all featuring ANIMALS.

I almost used the Playful Pals Bundle, but the fun new set BALLOON BUILDERS was calling my name!

Isn't this balloon elephant too cute!!  I knew from the start that this little guy needed a string for his balloon.  Let's take a closer look.

The thin silver thread was just perfect for the balloon string!  It took a couple tries to get the bow tied, but it was worth the effort!

I kept the card pretty simple overall with a pretty design from the gorgeous BIRTHDAY BOUQUET paper in the background.  The elephant was stamped on Whisper White then I cut out the trunk before die cutting the rest with a circle framelit.  I had in mind that he was kind of floating in a balloon himself on the card!

BUT, are you wondering why I named this post PARTY ANIMAL and then shared such a sweet and gentle little elephant??  Well, I named the post after my ten year old daughter Sofia who went crazy with this set and made 12 cards in one day.  She is the party animal!!  I got kicked out of my stamp area for the day and she stamped her little heart out.  I thought I'd share one with you.

Sofia's Party Animal

Isn't this fun!! She is very clever and even made a balloon sun for her card.  She did all this work by herself including taking the picture!!  She's been paying attention to what I do, can you tell??

Now let's get to the supply list so you can be a stampin' party animal and create your own balloon animal cards.

World on a String

I have a clean and simple yet whimsical card to share today with the fun new stamp set BALLOON BUILDERS.

There's just something about this set that calls to the kid in me!  I love the watercolor style balloons and the fact that you can build ANYTHING you imagine with them!

I went clean and simple with today's card just because I couldn't wait to get ink on this balloon!  And let's talk about this awesome greeting...super fun right??

And of course there needed to be a balloon inside the card.  It definitely needed to coordinate with the outside of the card and the envelope....plus I just wanted to stamp another balloon!

If you hadn't really noticed BALLOON BUILDERS on page 14, go give it a second look!  Lots of fun to be had with this stamp set!!
