Christmas Pines

Another quick and easy Christmas card for today!  I'm using CHRISTMAS PINES again and featuring the PINE BOUGH EMBOSSING FOLDER with PRESENTS AND PINECONES DSP.



While this is an easy card to make, it still is quite beautiful!  The embossed pine needles really make this card stand out.  I even added a little shimmer to them by using WINK OF STELLA.



And the designer paper is a perfect match!  The small pinecones and pine branches are a compliment to the card design.

Non Traditional Christmas Colors

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is NON TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS COLORS.



I went with my favorite bokeh technique to create a beautiful sparkly card with SANTA'S SLEIGH.



The softness of the Flirty Flamingo and Whisper White craft ink create a lovely background for the sparkly silver glimmer reindeer.



I added a punch of color with a Tempting Turquoise wreath and the sentiment embossed in black.  The sentiment was actually taken from CHRISTMAS PINES.  I liked the font and the size of the sentiment complimented the reindeer.

Christmas Pines

Now that I'm in full out Christmas mode, I am loving the gorgeous for CHRISTMAS PINES BUNDLE.

Add this bundle to the coordinating PRESENTS AND PINECONES DSP and you can't go wrong!  The colors are so amazing, I can't get enough of the new In Color EMERALD ENVY.  It's absolutely the perfect green for Christmas!



I also used one of the new embossing folders, PINE BOUGH.  It creates a beautiful background without a lot of work.  It looks fabulous behind my sentiment without any extra bells and whistles.  The only thing I added in was a little bling (couldn't help myself!).  The FANCY FROST SEQUINS coordinate perfectly and give a nice little sparkle to the card to compete the look.
