Valentines

Creation Station header

Welcome to the CREATION STATION BLOG HOP!  This month we are all about VALENTINES!! The big day is less than two weeks away so you've come to the right place.  The blog hop is full of fabulous ideas so make sure you visit all of them!!

I was so excited to order new supplies that I didn't think about Valentine's Day being around the corner....so no Valentine sets (sad face).  BUT WAIT!  I know there are others out there that did the same, so I am giving you a couple of Valentines using everyday stamps.

Sky is the Limit becreativewithnicole.com

This first card was so much fun to make!  If you look closely at the background, you can see the bokeh effect which is a favorite technique of mine.  It gives such a lovely soft look that's perfect for a sky scene.

Soaring becreativewithnicole.com

A couple of vellum clouds added in give more interest without overtaking the plane.  And of course since it's a Valentine, I had to add some hearts!  This just goes to show you how versatile SKY IS THE LIMIT really is!  The variety of greetings really makes this one a gem and must have!!

sky is the limit becreativewithnicole

Now, how about one that's clean and simple??  I used a Sale-a-bration set that is another must have...HELLO.

Hello by becreativewithnicole.com

How is that for simple!  I love the giant HELLO in this set, it's just so darn useful!  I was able to add in another stamp set and create a beautiful Valentine.

hello becreativewithnicole

The swirly "love" from HELLO LIFE fit just right below "hello".  It turned out just as I pictured it!  A few RED GLIMMER hearts and voila' a Valentine!

Hello Valentine becreativewithnicole.com

I hope I inspired you to use your everyday stamps for Valentines today!  Now it’s time to move on and see more favorites from the very talented ladies in this group.  Up next is Julie and I can’t wait to see what’s she’s made!  Be sure to hop all the way around, I know you’ll want to see all of the fabulous ideas!

Hello Lavender

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week we are celebrating Sale-a-bration with TAGS!

We could choose anything from the Sale-a-bration catalog to make the tag with, so I went to my favorite set HELLO.

Hello by becreativewithnicole.com

Did you notice that I actually featured TWO Sale-a-bration sets on this tag??  Yep, I added in the gorgeous FLOWERING FIELDS set as well!  I am a HUGE fan of lavender, so that's the first thing that popped out when I saw this set.  And how nice is a big hello and lavender??  Very for me!!

Hello Tag

As I designed this tag, I encountered the dilemma of the "hello" being so ginormous.  How in the world do you fit a greeting like that on a 2" wide tag??  Well, you get inventive and add a ginormous Wisteria Wonder banner to hold that greeting!  And to make it stand out even more, I heat embossed it in white and added bling.

Then, I needed a great way to use this beautiful tag.  I don't have any lavender right now to give away, so I thought a card would be a great way to share it.

Hello Tag Card becreativewithnicole.com

Soft Sky with a Basic Black card base really make the softer colors POP!  And I couldn't give just a plain Soft Sky.  Embossed butterflies give a lovely background and match beautifully with the flowers!

OK, let's get to the nitty gritty.....the Supply List!

SUPPLIES:

Hello becreativewithnicole.com

Isn't this beautiful!  I love the soft polka dot background with the bold sentiment and flowers.

Hello birthday girl becreativewithnicole.com

One of our challenges this month was to use COLOR ME IRRESISTIBLE Designer Paper.  I chose the polka dots and lightly sponged on Soft Sky ink.

Botanical Blooms becreativewithnicole

Next I paired up the bold "hello" from the Sale-a-bration set HELLO with the BOTANICAL BUILDER FRAMELITS.  This collection of framelits gives so many flower options....it's just amazing!  The framelits can be bundled with a coordinating stamp set and designer paper...how cool is that!!  Make sure you check out the Occasions Catalog, just click HERE and the Sale-a-bration Catalog too!  It is live starting today so you can get ready to start your wish list and order!

Hello

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we had a very busy but good one!  I am back today with another clean and simple card.  This has really become my favorite style of card lately, especially with lots of crisp white!

Hello My Friend becreativewithnicole.com

I used the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge that is still going on for my inspiration.

CCMC386

I love these three colors together, a perfect recipe for a CAS card!

hello friend

I did a little stamping and a little die cutting to create this clean look.  The stamp from the new Sale-a-bration set HELLO was a perfect match to the GREETINGS THINLITS.  I also added a little bit of the WINTER WONDERLAND VELLUM STACK, love the stripes under the sentiment!

Hello friend becreativewithnicole.com

And as you already know, sequins are always a great compliment on a crisp card so there are two gold ones added to this one.  I even added a couple to the envelope, couldn't help myself!

As we wind down 2015 we have lots of new products to look forward to in 2016!  The Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration will begin on January 5th so you will be able to order all these great products very soon!  Until then, enjoy all the sneak peeks and get ready to make your wish list!

All About Sale-a-bration!

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week we are featuring SALE-A-BRATION products!

The SKY IS THE LIMIT stamp set was sitting on my desk, so I used it for today with a clean and simple design.

Congratulations my friend becreativewithnicole

Isn't this the perfect example of a crisp and clean card!  Lots of white with a thick white card base and a layer of Whisper White popped up on dimensionals.

congratulations

I punched a couple of clouds with the TREE BUILDER PUNCH and the new PERFECTLY ARTISTIC designer paper in the Sale-a-bration catalog. It's a set of beautiful marbled watercolor-like papers that are just gorgeous...a real must have!  I also snuck in a sentiment from another SAB set called HELLO.  The "congratulations" came from SKY IS THE LIMIT then I added in "my friend" from HELLO.....they work perfectly together!
