Up in the Air

This was a great opportunity to make a card for my best friend who is always a superhero for me.



I combined a couple of sets, EVERYDAY HERO and LIFT ME UP.  They work together beautifully!  The clouds and the sentiment from Lift Me Up was a perfect compliment to the superhero!  I made it bold and colorful and just love how it turned out!  If you'd like to give this a try, check out my supply list below.

Love is in the Air

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is LOVE IS IN THE AIR.



I went with the obvious choice and used LIFT ME UP for my card today.  It's a simple design which is my favorite lately!



I thought about doing this on watercolor paper and adding a wash of blue for the sky, but instead I went with the WATERCOLOR WASH background stamp.  This is one of my favorite backgrounds ever made and it was perfect for this card.



I added the sentiment in Dapper Denim, it's a nice complimentary color to Soft Sky.  The balloon was a combination of Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder.  The pink balloon stand out nicely against the blue sky and white clouds.

Lift Me Up

I wanted to make an uplifting card for a friend today, so what better stamp set to use than LIFT ME UP.



There are so many ways to use the beautiful balloon die cuts and stamps!  I ended up using the coordinating Sale-a-bration Freebie CARRIED AWAY DSP as inspiration.  The colors are beautiful and bright so it was easy to to come up with something.
