Yet Another Hearts a Flutter Valentine!

Ok, this will be the last Hearts a Flutter Valentine...for a few days anyway!  I will be working on Oh, Whale cards next so be prepared for a bunch! I wanted a soft, romantic feel for this card so I went with a color pallet of Crumb Cake, Pool Party, and Rose Red.

The base card is Rose red, as well as the heart die cut and seam binding.  I stamped the large scalloped heart from Hearts a Flutter before die cutting it, hard to tell in this picture.  The Pool party heart was die cut as well.  The Be Mine greeting is from the Mixed Medley hostess set that just retired with the Holiday Catalog.  That was the only item I used that is not current.  The DSP is Sycamore Street from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog and the Crumb cake layer is embossed with the new Honeycomb EF.  I like the softness that the rose red gives to the Valentine, it's a color I haven't used in awhile.

Here is a close up of the heart, shows the stamped image a little better.

Well, thanks for stopping by.  I will be featuring samples of Oh, Whale starting Monday.  Have a great weekend!!  Sign up for RSS feeds so you don't miss anything!

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!

Very pretty! I love the soft colors you used. BTW, I also like the rest of the "Hearts a Flutter" projects you made. Thanks for sharing!
