A Pop-Up Birthday

Today I have a birthday card to share made with the Dress Form Pop 'n Cuts from the Spring Catalog.  I needed a birthday card at the last minute for my Father-In-Law, something with a WOW factor since we were giving a gift card.  I decided to do a pop up with a birthday theme.  The outside of the card looks simple, cause it is!  I did DSP and a belly band with a simple birthday greeting.

For the inside, I used Patterned Party and the new Polymer stamp set.  Take a look.

The pop up portion of the card is done using the top note die cut adhered to the dress form.  I layered polka dot DSP with Whisper White.  I added in the banner from the new Polymer set stamped on DSP.  I stamped the cake from Patterned Party using markers to color it.  The candles were stamped directly to the Whisper White then I attached the cake.

The cake was adhered to Marina Mist CS then cut out so it stood out a little better against the white CS.  The bottom of the card has another banner.  Check it out.

This banner was from Patterned Party.  I used markers again to color the stamp then stamped it directly to Whisper White CS.  I left the bottom open for writing a message.

Everyone loved the card, I was glad since it was my first try and I did it under the gun!  I hope you liked it to, I will be showing more cards with the Pop 'n Cuts die in the future, it is so fun to work with and so many possibilities!

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
