A Floral Card for CCMC259

We have a great sketch this week for the Thursday Challenge at Create with Connie and Mary.

I thought this was a great layout and was excited to work with it.  I haven't been doing cards that are horizontal like this, so I used the same sketch with my usual vertical layout.

Secret Garden has been seriously neglected lately, so I pulled it out for this card.  Here's the details.

1.  Card base is Crumb Cake embossed with Mosaic Madness EF.

2.  Cut a border with Pistachio Pudding using the Adorning Accents Edgelit in
the scallop pattern.  Added paper piercing to the scallop border with the
     template from the Essentials Pack.

3.  Die cut a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe with a framelit from Apothecary
Accents.  The piece was cut in half and paper pierced with the template
    from the Essentials Pack.

4.  The flowers from Secret Garden were stamped with Coastal Cabana and
die cut with the coordinating framelit.  A Large Basic Jewel Pearl was
added to the center of the flowers.  Leaves were punched from Pistachio
Pudding with the Bird Punch and added underneath the flowers.

5.  The greeting from Express Yourself (hostess) was stamped with Coastal
Cabana and die cut with the largest banner from Bitty Banners Framelits.

I had so much fun with this week's sketch, I hope you will play along and make a card too!  Hop over to Create with Connie and Mary for all the details and to link up your card.  While you are there, check out the preview of the Summer Collection 2013, it's not too late to join!

If it doesn't move...stamp it!!
