I wasn't sure what I wanted to do at first. I took at look at my stamps from the Holiday catalog and decided to go with a Christmas card. But not just any card , a pop up card with Color Me Christmas as the main focus. Here's the front of the card.
The first part of the card I focused on was the banners on the left side. I thought about using Gorgeous Grunge or card stock banners. But then I realized that the chevron stamp from A Banner Christmas would work perfectly for the sketch. I used Old Olive, Real Red, and Crumb Cake for my chevron colors. The greeting is from Oh, Goodie. It's stamped with Real Red on Whisper White and die cut with a Bitty Banner Framelit. Santa was stamped with StazOn Black on Glossy card stock and fussy cut so it could be added to the card with dimensionals. I colored Santa in with ink pads and a blender pen. Now for the inside.
Lots going on huh! The DSP is from the Season of Style DSP stack. I added in a present done the same as Santa, except it's die cut with a circle framelit to add to the Deco label. For the greeting, I went back to A Banner Christmas and used the Holly Jolly banner above the present and punched Christmas for below the present.
I just love how the Deco Labels framelits work so well with this pop up! I was able to do beautiful layering for my focal point.
This was a really fun card to put together. I hope you will join in with me a create a card of your own!
