Winter Frost DSP Card for CCMC275

It's Thursday and time for the new sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary!

Banners are so much fun, I was happy to see this sketch!  The hardest part of the challenge was picking a Designer Series Paper, there are so many wonderful choices!  I looked through my scraps and ended up using the Winter Frost DSP Pack from the Holiday Catalog.

I went a little wild with the banners and used more than the 5 on the sketch.  I just liked the way more banners looked!  

Here are  the details:

1.  Used Bermuda Bay (my new favorite color!) as the card base.  Added a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana.

2.  Cut a strip of Bermuda Bay card stock and embossed it using the Needlepoint Border embossing folder with the scallop edge.  I attached the banners to this piece then added it to the card.  The banners were 1/2" x 2 1/2" cut from scraps of Winter Frost DSP.  I attached them with sticky strip.

3.  Added a 1/4" strip of Silver Glimmer Paper across the top of the banners to make it neat and tidy.  Also added a 1 1/4" scalloped circle punched from Glimmer paper.  To that I added a 7/8" scalloped circle punched from Bermuda Bay and topped it off with the beautiful Frosted Finishes Embellishment.  Before adding this embellishment to the card, I added three strips of glimmer paper behind it, 2 short ones with a longer one on top.

4.  The final detail was the greeting.  I stamped "Christmas Cheer" from Sweet Essentials using Bermuda Bay.
