Life in the Forest and BLOG CANDY!

It's day three of PREVIEW week for the Spring Collection 2014 at Create with Connie and Mary.  I am SO excited to be a part of this awesome creative team.  I have a fun card to share with you today plus BLOG CANDY!!!  Let's get started with my Life in the Forest card.

I have to say, I just LOVE this fox!  My kids are obsessed with the You Tube video about what the fox says, and I can see why....Mr. Fox is cute!  This card also feature the Just Sayin' Bundle and Designer Series Paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog.

Mr. Fox and the mouse were stamped and cut out so they could be placed in front of the Summer Starfruit trees.

Clouds were added in to the top of the white card stock.  I simply die cut the cloud from the Just Sayin' Framelits and sponged Soft Sky ink around it all the way down to the trees.

The polka dot DSP is my favorite pattern from the Sale-a-bration paper, so fun with the little critters.

The final touch is "gee thanks" from the Just Sayin" Bundle.  It's popped up with a dimensional over the clouds.  I even added another bubble greeting inside the card, it's the one that has the cloud shape.

I simply had too much fun with all these new goodies!!  Now on to some BLOG CANDY!

Hi Cheryl! I did not use the new scissors for the grass. I simply used my paper snips. Thanks to everyone for commenting!

[…] I wanted to pair the sentiment with clouds and a sun and keep it crisp looking.  First was the circle with clouds made by sponging Soft Sky ink over a cloud shape.  Guess what I used?  The Word Bubbles Framelits has a perfectly shaped cloud!  In a previous post is a picture showing how I sponge the ink, you can find it HERE.
