My little guy turned one on Saturday, so I used this sketch for his birthday card.
I paired Blue Ribbon with Birthday Basics DSP to come up with a fun birthday card. The card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of Basic Grey. The bottom of the grey is embossed with the Alphabet Press EF and the top has DSP.
A layer of 1/4 " Basic Grey Stitched Grosgrain ribbon hides the separation of DSP and cardstock. The blue ribbon is added to the left side with dimensionals. The ribbon itself is stamped with Bermuda Bay on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut out by hand. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to center the "1" perfectly in the center of the scallop circle. I did a little paper piecing for the tails of the ribbon and the "1" to add a little extra color.
This was super easy to put together, which I need with a one year old around! He's a picture of my sweet little boy, he's such a happy guy!
I hope you will join the challenge with me this week! Just go to Technostamper for all the details plus more great cards from the Design Team.

This is just darling, I forget how cute this set is if it is in the "right hands", lol. You really do a great job with this set. Thanks for all the amazing samples for my sketch challenges.
