Guy Greetings

I have a fun little set of 3 x 3 cards made with the new set Guy Greetings to share today.  I've had this set out for the last week and a half and I must say I've really enjoyed stamping with it!  I made an exclusive card set for the Spring Collection 2015 that I am really pleased with!  Creating masculine cards can be intimidating but not with this set...it came easy.  If you aren't a subscriber yet, you can find all the details about the collection at Create with Connie and Mary.

Now, on to the super fun set of 3 x 3 cards that I have for you today.  I have been doing lots of these little guys lately, they are so quick and easy to make!  For this set, I paired Guy Greetings with Typeset Designer Paper and kept it simple.

Yep, I said simple!  It's just Basic Black and Very Vanilla.  Guy Greetings has a vintage feel, so it's perfect with these colors and the Typeset Designer Paper.  I've done close ups of each card so you can see more detail.

Card 1 was just meant to be.  The map design goes PERFECT with the anchor and sentiment.  The sentiment is stamped directly on the DSP.  The anchor was stamped on Very Vanilla and fussy cut then popped up on the card.

Card 2 is super simple, everything is stamped directly on the DSP, that's it!

Card 3 is my favorite!  I love the Mustache framelit, so I had to pair it with this set.  The sentiment is die cut with a Word Bubble Framelit and popped up with dimensionals.  The mustache is popped up as well.

And lastly, Card 4 is too fun with the muscle man stamped on Very Vanilla and fussy cut.  I stamped the sentiment directly on the paper then added the man with dimensionals.

Now, what do you think??  Can you tell I had a blast with these cards?  Perfect to have on hand for a little thank you or birthday gift.  I kept the insides blank so they can be used as needed.

Big Day!

Today IS a big day, my first project for the Create with Connie and Mary Spring Collection 2015 went live this morning!

I am so excited to be on the Design Team again, I really love creating projects for the collections.  Since my first project is all about Sale-a-bratin products, I used one of the sets I featured on this card set.

This FREE set is soooooo much fun!!!  You can do all sorts of cards, including these quick little 3" x 3" ones.  I kept all of them simple, doing two of each style.  One set is in Bermuda Bay and the other in Calypso Coral.

I love the simplicity of these cards, they are easy to make in lots of colors.

The first card is a simple monochromatic with the celebrate sentiment.  The second has a birthday greeting and cake colored with blendabilities.  The best part is how quick they come together.  Now I have some great little cards ready to go!

Big Day!

Now, on to my sweet little set of 3 x 3 cards using the new Lotus Blossom set in the Sale-a-bration Catalog.

This floral set is just soooo beautiful!!  I love the three step stamping that creates this amazing flower!

Two of the cards have just "thank you" on the front.  I did all the flowers with one color to make is simple and elegant.  I tried out sponging the edges on the Bermuda Bay card then decided I liked the clean look better.  The second flower is Wisteria Wonder, I love this color but don't use it enough!

The second set of cards have the longer sentiment on the front.  I like the look of both, but I think this one is my favorite.  The left card is done with Strawberry Slush and the card on the right is Calypso Coral.

Cards like these are so easy to put together and very nice to have on hand!! I started this set to use up scraps that were on my desk.  With a flower set, the color choices are unlimited and so are the greetings!  I plan on putting together a few for birthdays when I get the chance.

Fun Birthday Gift Cards

Today I have two fun little birthday gift cards I made with You're My Hero.  These are perfect for tucking into a gift bag for a little boy. 

The size of the cards is 3x3.  I like to do these every so often, they are quick and fun since there is less space to fill.  You're My Hero is a perfect set for this.  I love the weeeooo-weeeooo stamp, it looks great at the bottom of the cards.  Here are the cards individually.

This first card has the police car colored with Markers.  I stamped it on a separate piece of Whisper White and cut it out.  The new Chevron Ribbon is too cool and looks great behind the car.  I adhered it directly to the card with SNAIL and then added the car using dimensionals.

On this second card, I stamped the ambulance in Daffodil Delight instead of using markers.  I like this look too.  It's much simpler if you need to make several cards.  I set the rest of it up the same as the first with the ribbon and adding the ambulance with dimensionals.

Fun, fast, easy! That's just what a crafter needs sometimes.  I love intricate cards and details, but sometimes it's just as much fun to do something quick and fun! Fun Birthday Gift Cards
