Homespun Christmas

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is HOMESPUN CHRISTMAS.

ccmfall3

Since we are all about homespun Christmas I went with a warm and cozy card featuring COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS and the CABLE KNIT EMBOSSING FOLDER.

Anything with cable knit is warm and cozy!!  I even went for dark colors that make you think of warmth when you look at them.

I have been all about cards that are easy to create so I can make lots to send out for the holidays.  This card fits neatly into this category, it is very easy to put together and would go quickly when making assembly style.

Christmas Shaker Card

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week our theme is CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH MOVEMENT.

ccmfall3

Of course you know I had to go with a SHAKER CARD since it's my favorite style of movement card!

This is a flat shaker and I only did the top portion of the card so the gingerbread man could be along the bottom.

The card features two stamp set that work beautifully together, CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS and COOKIE CUTTER CHRISTMAS.  I also added in the coordinating CANDY CANE LANE WASHI TAPE AND DSP.

What I love about this type of card is how easy it is!  Shaker cards with height require more time to assemble since you have to work with foam adhesive.  This flat style of card skips that step so you can move fast yet still have the wow factor of the shaker.

If you'd like to make your own Candy Cane Lane Shaker card, check out the supply list below.

UPPLIES:

STAMPS:   Candy Cane Christmas, Cookie Cutter Christmas

INKS:  Real Red, Soft Suede

PAPER:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Candy Cane Lane DSP,

ACCESSORIES:  Cookie Cutter Punch, Confetti Star Punch, Gold Sequin Trim, Window Sheet, Candy Cane Lane Designer Washi, Tear Tape,  Stampin’ Trimmer, Paper Snips, Bone Folder, SNAIL, Mini glue Dots, Dimensionals

Creation Station Blog Hop: Halloween is to Die For!

Creation Station header

Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop for October!  This month we are sharing Halloween projects and cards.  We have tons of ideas to share, so be sure to hop all the way around to see what everyone has created!

mini-treat-bags-becreativewithnincole-comI combined several products for my half size Mini Treat Bags, love how everything works together so well!

cookie-cutter-skeleton-becreativewithnicole-com

Half size mini treat bags are super fun to make and prefect party favors!  I kept my designs fairly simple so you could use these ideas and make them in multiples for your parties this year.

Using COOKIE CUTTER HALLOWEEN and the coordinating COOKIE CUTTER BUILDER PUNCH make this something that would be simple to crank out a bunch of in a short amount of time.  I kept the stamping simple by choosing the characters that only needed black ink.  Just stamp and punch!

Make your treats quickly by doing all of your steps assembly line style.  If you want to make several of one design, cut all your paper and assemble the mini treat bags then doing all your stamping to complete the treat.

Let your Designer Series Paper do the work for you!  I didn't have to do anything extra for my backgrounds, the fabulous HALLOWEEN NIGHTS DSP did the work for me!  I just added die cuts and bling!
