Speaking of NEW PRODUCTS, how about another birthday card using a NEW stamp set?  As I said in the previous post, I am on a huge birthday card kick so of course I have another birthday card to share today!

I am really loving Age Awareness and for more than one reason!  First of all, it's photopolymer so it's SUPER easy to line up the images.  Second, it has both big and small sentiments so you can make all sorts of cards.  Lastly, I love that the sentiments are good for both the inside and outside of the card.  I like to embellish the inside of all my cards, so having a sentiment for the inside is a huge bonus.

This card was a quick one to put together, always good when you need a card in a hurry!  The card base is Tempting Turquoise with just the one layer of Whisper White that I stamped on.  The first thing I did was stamp the sentiment.  I stamped "birthday" with Strawberry Slush.  I added in the rest of the sentiment with Tempting Turquoise right above it.  Here's where photopolymer is so great, it was super easy to line it up just right!

Once the sentiment was in place, I added the stenciled stars.  Yes, you heard me correctly, I was able to add in stars with our new DECORATIVE MASKS!

Aren't these stars awesome!!  I used a sponge dauber and Daffodil Delight ink pad to add in stars all around my sentiment.  To add a little extra sparkle, I added rhinestones colored with my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Markers.  I can't wait until these are available for everyone to purchase.  The markers have only been available to demonstrators in limited colors.  We are hoping to see them available to everyone mid summer.  I will definitely let you know when you can purchase them.  Trust me, you will want them!

So that's it for my quick and easy birthday card!  Lots of fun and so fast you could make a bunch of these with all different colors and keep them handy for when you need them.

I've got lots of great cards and ideas to share with you during preview week so be sure to sign up for RSS feed so you don't miss anything!  Did I mention that BLOG CANDY is up for grabs too?!  All the the Designers will have a  BLOG CANDY day during this week.  Today you can go to Mary's blog and check out her FREE TUTORIAL and have a chance at to win a FREE PASS for the Summer Collection 2014!  So hurry up and head on over to see what she has to share today!
