A Shaker Card Tutorial and BLOG CANDY!

I had lots of wonderful comments about my shaker card that I made two weeks ago for a Create with Connie and Mary challenge.  Many of the comments were about what is a jewelry bag and how did I make the card.  So, I decided todo  a quick tutorial for you today since it's a special day.

We are on day 2 of Preview Week for the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection and it's my day to give away BLOG CANDY!!  You need to leave a comment today for a chance to win a FREE subscription to the card collection!!!  Now, on to my card and the tutorial.

I bet you knew it was going to be a Halloween card!!  I just can't get enough of this cute set, and it's perfect for a shaker card!  Here's a picture tutorial showing the jewelry bag and how I cut it down.  You can buy these in the jewelry section of craft stores.

This is a small bag.  For today's card, I had to cut it down.  The top right picture shows the top cut off and the bottom left shows the side cut off.  I used sticky strip to seal the open edges.  The card I made for the challenge two weeks ago only required the top being cut off.  It's all according to the size of your shaker front.

Once all of the sequins and stars were in the shaker pouch, I adhered it to the shaker cardstock.  This picture shows you how I placed it.  I left the backing on so you could see where it is.  I used dimensionals to adhere the whole thing to the card.

So there you have it!  A fun shaker card that anyone would love!  And now on to BLOG CANDY!!  Please leave a comment today to be entered for a FREE subscription to the Holiday Card "Create'tions Collection!
