Be Creative with Nicole: In the Trees Card Set

Do you ever find a set that you just have to have?? Well, In the Trees was one of those sets for me. I saw it in the Spring Occasions Catalog and knew I had to have it. It's a darling set that is amazing for water color. I sat down with it this weekend and created a card set that I think you'll enjoy as much as I have.

It all started with the idea to make little cards to put in the card box you can make with the Lots to Love Box Framelits on page 19. The first two cards feature Berry Burst which is one of my favorite In Colors. All the images were heat embossed them water colored with an aqua painter and ink re-fills.

A second set of the same design were done in my other favorite In Color, Lemon Lime Twist. Each of the four cards have a different sentiment so there is versatility.

The box itself is made from water color paper so it's quite sturdy. All four cards fit nicely. I love how sweet this set it and can't wait to include these cards with little gifts. Here's some details so you can create your own set.

Card size is 4 1/2" x 2 3/4". The card base for each is 2 3/4" x 9", scored at 4 1/2". The four cards fit inside the box. I made envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board with the following measurements : 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" score at 2 1/2". The envelopes are the same width as the box so they do not fit inside.
