Cuppa Hot Chocolate

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week we are featuring Christmas gifts or favors!  Lots of ideas for gifts to give out to teachers, friends and anyone else that needs to be appreciated at this time of year.



I pulled out my envelope board and created a couple of hot chocolate gifts that are easy to make and would be loved by anyone.

Aren't these great!!  Best part, they are very easy to make so you can have lots to hand out!

To make these all you need is some designer paper and an envelope punch board.  Cut the paper 6 3/4" x 6 3/4" and follow the directions for the 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" envelope on the punch board.  So your first score mark is at 3" then just rotate the paper and line up with the score lines.  Once your scoring is done.  Fold up 3 flaps and cut off the last one which will be one of the shorter sides.



Add a belly band and embellish!  I used the GORGEOUS red foil paper and added a fun falala to the band.  The contrast of the Mossy Meadow band and the red foil is simply beautiful!  I listed the supplies below so you give these fun little hot chocolate packets a try for yourself!

Envelope Punch Board Treat Tutorial

I am back with a tutorial for the fun little treat that I shared last week.  I had LOTS of emails about how to make these cute little guys, so I here you go!  First let me show you a couple of new designs that I did.

SO CUTE, right??  I think the googlie eyes really made these cool!!

This first one has a Black Glimmer paper hat, so fashionable for a skeleton!

This next guy just preferred the bare bones!  Of course I had to use Black Glimmer paper somehow, so I added the "BOO"!

Ok, now to the nitty gritty!!  I am trying something different this time, something I hope will be helpful.  I wrote up the tutorial in PDF form for you to download!!  I would love to know if that is something you'd like in place of the tutorial just in the blog post, so leave me a comment and tell me what you think!

Envelope Board Treats

I have another Halloween treat to share, this time I used the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD.



These cute little treats are sooooo easy to make!  All you need is a 5 x 5 piece of designer paper, the envelope punch board and some embellishments!



The owl treat is my favorite of the two, I love how he is standing on the sentiment!  For Halloween, the new Howl-o-ween Treat Bundle is the way to go!  The coordinating paper is amazing too!



This one is the flip side of the design used for the owl.  I love the polka dots paired with Black Glimmer Paper!

The envelope punch board made it easy to make these plus a bunch more!  I think I got 12 made and embellished in just under an hour!  If you don't have the envelope punch board yet you're in luck....... it's on the Weekly Deals!
