More Mini Clothespins!

Welcome back! Today is the last day of Preview week for the new Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection!  All week I have been sharing projects made with products from the new Holiday catalog.  Today I have another set of cute little mini clothes pins embellished for Halloween.

I can't get enough of these, they are so stinkin' cute!  I have made two sets and you know I will have to make Christmas ones too!  Just like yesterday's set, I used designer paper.  This one is a combination of Brights Collection and Motley Monsters.

I die cut a Bermuda Bay banner to hold the clips.  I went with a simple sentiment stamped with the super fun Alphabet Rotary stamp.

I also went with different packaging for this set.  I used a vellum bag from last year that is embellished with the new White and Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim.   A couple of holes punched in the end of the bag made it easy to add a quick bow.

I hope you enjoyed this second set!!  Be sure to visit Create with Connie and Mary today for a FREE tutorial from Connie and another chance for BLOG CANDY!!!!  While you are there, check out the info about the new collection, we have some really amazing cards to share!!

Have a great day!  Happy Stamping!

Halloween Mini Clothespins

I have a really cute project to share today for Halloween.  Remember the mini clothespin I shared with you on Wednesday?  Well, I loved that cute little clothespin so much I made a couple of sets.

Are these adorable or what?!!  The Motley Monster Designer Series Paper makes a great embellishments for these little guys.  This set of four was so quick to make, I make another set that I will share with you tomorrow.

Each clip has a magnetic backing so they can be useful and cute!

To package them, I simply die cut a Basic Black Apothecary Accent and embellished it.  There are spooky white eyes , Candy dots and a sentiment.  Check back tomorrow for another set that is packaged a little differently but just as cute!

And, be sure to stop over at Create with Connie and Mary!  We are coming to the end of Preview Week for the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection and there is still BLOG CANDY to be had!  So hurry over and see what the new collection is all about!!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Santa Stache for CCMC318

It's Thursday (already!) and I can't wait for you to see my card today!  I had so much fun making this card for the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge.  Here's the colors for this week.

I love the soft look of these colors, a very beautiful combination.  It took me a little to figure out what to do because I wanted to use new stamps and I only have Halloween and Christmas to work with.  So, I went with Santa Stache.

Isn't this nutcracker perfect with these colors?!  I love the mustache with Basic Grey, he looks so dapper!  Here's a list of supplies.

Stamps:  Santa Stache
Paper: Basic Grey. Soft Sky, Hello Honey, Whisper White
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
Blendabilities:  Smokey Slate, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Skin Tones
Accessories: Mustache Framelit, Lucky Star Embossing Folder, Confetti Stars Punch

Now, head on over to Create with Connie and Mary for more details about the challenge plus more beautiful cards from the Design Team.  They also have all the details about the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection that starts next week, you won't want to miss it!

Sophisticated Halloween Treat

Welcome back!  It's day 3 of Preview Week for Holiday Card "Create"tions and I have a treat to share!  I like to combine the old with the new, so that's what I've done today.

Now, the box isn't exactly old, it's from July's My Paper Pumpkin kit.  But, I haven't touched it since July and we have a brand new Holiday Catalog coming out, so it was already forgotten.  When I got the kit, I saw the Rich Razzleberry striped boxes and thought of Halloween immediately.  So, I decided to make a more grown-up sophisticated Halloween treat.

I put the box together and did a few quick embellishments to make a very chic Halloween treat with Ghirardelli chocolates.

To dress up the inside, I cut a strip of white tissue paper and added Rich Razzleberry stars with the star decorative mask.  I tucked the paper inside the box and stacked up the chocolates.  The tops of the tissue paper folded over to show stars when the boxes is opened.

The tag is stamped with a greeting from Ghoulish Greetings and a little bat from Freaky Friends.  I used a super cute clothespin from the main catalog to attach the tag to the cotton Rich Razzleberry ribbon.

I felt the clothespin should match the package, so I added a thin strip of Rich Razzleberry designer paper from the Brights Collection.  I even added a bit of magnetic sheet to the back of the clip so it could be used to clip up a small picture or business card.

For a final touch, a couple of bats are attached to the box with a little piece of dimensional.  I am LOVING this box and feel like I need to make more!  I hope you love it too!  So, get out your new and old products and have fun stamping!

If you are looking for ideas for the new catalog, I have just the answer for you...the Holiday Card "Create"tions Collection!  It starts next week and there are lots of fabulous card ideas to be had.  Stop by Create with Connie and Mary to see all the details plus a link to a FREE TUTORIAL and BLOG CANDY!

See you back here tomorrow for the new Thursday Challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  I have another preview card to share! Thanks for visiting and happy stamping!
