Create with Connie and Mary have a fun color challenge just perfect for this time of year! This week we are working with some great Halloween colors.
I just got My Paper Pumpkin for September in the mail at the beginning of the week, so I used it for today's card.
I haven't done a banner card in awhile, so I thought it would be fun for a Halloween card. I kept it pretty simple using minimal stamping.
On a Basic Black card base, I added a Tangerine Tango Banner with "Boo" from Paper Pumpkin stamped twice. To add a bit of color, 4 banners from Motley Monsters Designer Paper were added to the sides. Each strip of designer paper is 3/4" wide then cut down to have the lengths vary. I added a little flip to the ends with a bone folder for dimension.
The card still needed a little something, so I added several bats from Freaky Friends. Two hold up the banners and one more in between the sentiments.

Definitely a fun card - bright and very seasonal! Love the addition of the bats to your banner. I am not a fan of bats in real life but I sure do love them on cards!
