It's Thursday and time for a challenge from
Create with Connie and Mary. This week is a really fun sketch, take a look.
The first thing I did was pull out my designer papers. The Best Year Ever Sale-a-bration set stood out to me, so I pulled several designs to work with.
Coastal Cabana and Pool Party are two of my favorite colors, so I naturally gravitated to them. The card base is Pool Party with a layer Whisper White with the sentiment in the lower left. Next, a strip of the gorgeous bokeh style designer paper went along the top. A couple of banners of designer paper were next followed by Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Sale-a-bration accessory set.
I didn't want to leave the banners plain, so I layered a couple of flowers from Best Day Ever and added a pearl to the center.
This was such a fun card to make and could easily be done in any greeting and any type of paper...way cool! I hope you are feeling inspired now! You can find all of the challenge details plus more great samples from the Design Team at
