Create with Connie and Mary Blog Hop: Best Day Ever!

Welcome Stampers!! This week we are featuring the Sale-a-bration set Best Day Ever for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop.

http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/

Follow along with all of the Designers for lots of ideas for Sale-a-bration.  You should be arriving from Melissa's blog Rubberfanatics.  Doesn't she have fabulous ideas?!  For my card this week, I went the clean and simple route.

The card actually started out with one of the Project Life cards from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  I love the polka dot design and the colors of this particular card plus it had just the right amount of blank space for stamping.

I started out with a Coastal Cabana card base embossed with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.  Next, I stamped the sentiment on the Project Life card with Real Red ink.  Last step, a few Daffodil Delight flowers made with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I added a rhinestone the center of each for a little sparkle.

I love the bright and bold colors of this card plus the simplicity of it!  Now it's time to hop on over to Debbie Henderson's blog Debbie's Designs to see the wonderful card she has for you today.  Be sure to visit all of the Designers, you don't want to miss a thing!

Best Day Ever!

It's Thursday and time for a challenge from Create with Connie and Mary.  This week is a really fun sketch, take a look.

The first thing I did was pull out my designer papers.  The Best Year Ever Sale-a-bration set stood out to me, so I pulled several designs to work with.

Coastal Cabana and Pool Party are two of my favorite colors, so I naturally gravitated to them.  The card base is Pool Party with a layer Whisper White with the sentiment in the lower left.  Next, a strip of the gorgeous bokeh style designer paper went along the top.  A couple of banners of designer paper were next followed by Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Sale-a-bration accessory set.

I didn't want to leave the banners plain, so I layered a couple of flowers from Best Day Ever and added a pearl to the center.

This was such a fun card to make and could easily be done in any greeting and any type of paper...way cool!  I hope you are feeling inspired now!  You can find all of the challenge details plus more great samples from the Design Team at Create with Connie and Mary.

We are also in our third week of the Spring Collection 2015.  There are soooo many wonderful projects and cards, you don't want to miss it!  All of the details are at Create with Connie and Mary.

Thanks for visiting!! Happy Stamping!!

Spring Collection Week One Blog Hop!

Wow!! Hard to believe week one of the Spring Collection 2015 from Create with Connie and Mary is coming to an end.  I have really enjoyed all of the Sale-a-bration projects that were featured.  We have a fun blog hop today to share cards made with products we used all week.

http://www.createwithconnieandmary.com/

You should be arriving from Melissa's fabulous blog, I just love all of her cards!!  My card features Best Year Ever, one of the sets that I used for my project.

I love how cute this card turned out!  It's not hard to come up with ideas when there are so many fabulous Sale-a-bration products to work with.  The Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper has a beautiful group of colors that are truly inspiring!

The card base is Coastal Cabana with a fun tulip style paper design.  The sentiment is two layers, the bottom was cut with a circle framelit and the sentiment is cut with a starburst framelit.

The inside also has designer paper, I love this bohek inspired design.  I stamped a sentiment on the right side and a few flowers along the bottom center.  The sentiment on the circle is from the Circle Flip Card Thinlet set.  I cut four layers in Coastal Cabana and stacked them using a glue pen for adhesive.  This gives the sentiment a bit of dimension and makes it pop a little.  Lastly, I added a few In Color sequins, I can't have a card without any sparkle!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today!! There are lots more to see on the hop!! Debbie Henderson is your next stop, you will love what she's made!
