I have a fun little treat for you today featuring another Sale-a-bration set.  This is another must have stamp set, it has so many uses!



I whipped up a little treat for Valentine's Day or any other occasion you want.  It just requires a cupcake liner, a gusseted bag and some candy.  All these items were handy in my kitchen so I had this put together in no time.



To decorate by treat bag, I used the new Sale-a-bration set BOTANICALS FOR YOU.  I love this big, bold greeting!  Just stamp and die cut a tag...easy peasy!



Once all the candy was in the bag and the tag was done, I simply tied the bag shut with the lovely Watermelon Dotted Lace Trim.  One thing extra I did add inside the bag was a few hearts for a confetti effect.  I also added a few to the outside of the bag with a couple of dimensionals.  I love the extra bit of color!

Pyramid Pals

The new Occasions Catalog is just FULL. OF. GOODNESS!  I am so happy that I can start creating with new products and honestly I don't know where to start!!  Since Christmas is just a few days away, I went with a Christmas idea I had for a new set of thinlits called PYRAMID PALS.

Are these just too cute or what!!!  The PYRAMID PALS THINLITS have a coordinating stamp set that you can purchase as a bundle and save 15%...woo hoo!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was the first idea to come to mind and is simple to make.  To make the pyramid you need just a half sheet of cardstock cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  I cut out 2 pieces of the pyramid and assembled it leaving one side open to add goodies.  His face was super easy to create as well, the mouth was done with a stamp from the coordinating set PLAYFUL PALS and the eyes and nose are done with the circles from the OWL BUILDER PUNCH.

I made his face on the front and had the back be the side that opens up.  His antlers are part of the die cut set, they are intended to be frog legs but easily changed to antlers with just a few snips with my scissors.

The tree features another part of the thinlit set, a FRINGE die cut.  YES, I said FRINGE die cut!!  I was able to use the left over parts of the half sheet of paper for these fringe pieces, so making this tree was very frugal!  I adhered the fringe before assembling the pyramid so I could trim it down into the triangle shape.

For the back of this one, I added a tag cut from a triangle thinlit in the set and stamped "to" and "from".  I added a bit of gold cording to tie this one shut to hold goodies for the recipient.

Spooky Treat Bag

After sharing lots of MINI TREAT BAGS yesterday, I had to sit down and make more!

This is super cute and was soooooo easy to make!  I used SPARKLY SEASONS and the coordinating SEASONAL FRAME THINLITS.



I love having framelits for my stamps and when they are bundled at a 15% savings you can't go wrong!!



The frame thinlit in the bundle is perfect for the front of the bag that I made from HAPPY HAUNTING Designer Series Paper.  I cut mine in Tangelo Twist and stamped a jack-o-lantern.  His cute little stem is die cut and partially paper pieced to give a green leaf and brown stem.  But my favorite part is the sentiment.  I die cut "spooky" in BLACK GLIMMER PAPER and stamped "greetings" below.  All in all, this bag only took about 15 minutes to make!

Howl-o-ween Treat

I love creating fun little treats and Halloween is a great excuse!  There's a super fun new bundle in the upcoming Holiday Catalog that is perfect for treats and all things Halloween.



 

Is this cute or what!!  Howl-o-ween Treats has bold images with matching framelits that give lots of options for Halloween creations.  I paired it with the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit and a few bright bold colors.



I used the colors from the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  When I saw these colors, they were bright and bold and my first thought was Halloween!



The Tangerine Tango Mini Treat Bag was embossed with  Large Polka Dots then just a few simple elements were added.  A bold sentiment and hat from Howl-o-ween and a couple of Black Glimmer Paper stars.  The simple design makes it easy to create these in volume to give out to excited trick or treaters!

The bag is loaded with fun Halloween goodies that any kids would love!

To make the treats easy for the kids to take home, its packaged up in a cello bag.  The little activity book is a tiny bit too big to fit in the Mini Treat Bag, but fits perfectly behind it in a cello!

I just LOVE this fun treat idea and can't wait to explore more color options and design ideas!

Holiday Sneak Peek!

I am SO EXCITED.....my new HOLIDAY GOODIES are here!!!  I just got my pre-order yesterday (a great perk of being a SU Demo!) and the products are AMAZING!!  So of course I had to sit down and create right away, so here's a fun little treat for you!



Is this cute or what?!  I used several of the NEW Halloween products.  My favorite already is the BLACK GLIMMER PAPER.  Yes, you heard me correctly, BLACK GLIMMER PAPER!!  This stuff is AMAZING!  So, basically this project was planned around using some of it....I couldn't open the package fast enough...lol!



Here's a closer look at it.  It's so much better in person, so definitely put this on your first order!  I used the "BOO" framelit from the new BOO TO YOU Framelits that coordinate with a really fun Halloween set that I will show you soon.



The little spider on the treat is in the same set of framelits and from the Halloween set I'll be sharing called HOWL-O-WEEN TREAT.  But let's talk about the treat holder itself, it's made with the SCALLOP TAG TOPPER PUNCH and HAPPY HAUNTING Designer Series Paper.  It's an easy little treat to make, in fact, come back tomorrow and I'll show you how!  Best part......if you don't have this punch yet, it's one of the WEEKLY DEALS!
