We have lots to cover today, so let's get started!  First, I have a cool card to share that shows how I used the extra piece of the Spider Web Doily from Tuesday.

Spooky by becreativewithnicole.com

This cool Halloween card features a Bundle from the Holiday Catalog made up of the WOODLAND EMBOSSING FOLDER and AMONG THE BRANCHES.  To make this a spooky card, I added color to the embossing folder with my brayer before embossing the cardstock.  It's very easy and give s big WOW factor!  Check out my video below to see how to make this spooky Halloween card!

Rainbow Color Smash Video Tutorial

I've got a video for you today!  This time it's a technique called COLOR SMASH that makes water coloring so much FUN!  I saw this idea on pinterest awhile back and thought it would be the perfect technique to showcase with OVER THE RAINBOW.

Color Smash Video Tutorial

As you can see, this technique allows you to layer colors onto your paper any way you like!  Below is the card I did when trying this for the first time, I used a bit less color and left more white space.

Watercolor Over the Rainbow

I think I like this one that I made first better, which is your favorite??

[embed]https://youtu.be/RjsN1gu2swE[/embed]

All you need are a few simple supplies.  Here's a list of what I used for both of these cards.

Ink refills:  Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder (purple for original card shown second)

Paper:  Pacific Point card base, Water color paper 4" x 5 1/2"

Accessories:  Small piece of window sheet, empty stamp case, Stampin' Spritzer with water, Versamark, black embossing powder, heat gun, Fast Fuse, Metallic Sequin Assortment Tombow Multi-purpose glue

I hope you enjoyed today's fun technique!  Give it a try and let me know how it goes!  I'd like to start doing more video tutorials.   If you have anything in particular you'd like to see, leave me a comment or e-mail me, I'd love your suggestions!

Measurements:

Basket Pieces
(2) White cardboard from designer paper package  3 1/2" x 8 1/4"

Scallop Trim
(2)  3/4" x 8 1/4" Blushing Bride

Handle

I added the handle and flower after the video with hot glue.  I also added lots of goodies to the basket and packaged it in a gusseted bag with a ribbon and tag.

A Basket Bouquet

Hi Stampers!  I have more flowers for you today!  I had some baskets in my craft room that have been patiently waiting to be embellished for at least 5 or 6 years now.  The flowers from the Bouquet die are PERFECT for decorating these, so I made a video to show you how I made a couple of the flowers.  First, let me show you the baskets.

These would be a great gift for Easter or Mother's Day.  The flap opens so you can put goodies inside.  I first made the basket with Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe, I just love that color combination!

For the video, I used Wisteria Wonder and Blushing Bride for my flowers.

I added in stamping with these flowers as well using the coordinating set Build a Bouquet.  I have all of the details for you in the video below.  I also have measurements for you for each flower listed below the video.

Measurements for die cutting the flowers:
Large Flower:
(5) Large flower petals: 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" (Wisteria Wonder)
(4) Small flower petals: 1 1/2" x 2" (Wisteria Wonder)
(5) Stamen 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (Elegant Eggplant)

Five Petal Flower:
(12) 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" (Blushing Bride) 3 for each flower for 4 flowers

Leaves:
(4) Large tear shaped leaf 1 1/4" x 2 1/4" (Pear Pizzaz)

The Designer Series paper is 1 11/16" x 9 1/2" and I used 2 strips to cover the trim on the basket.  The first basket used Best Year Ever DSP, a Crisp Cantaloupe design and the second used Something Borrowed DSP.

I hope you enjoyed these baskets and flowers today!! Thanks so much for visiting!! Happy Stamping!

Edgelit Quick Tip

Hi Stampers!  I have a quick video to share with you today.  Anything that helps me be more efficient and more productive is a good thing which is why I wanted to share this tip with you.  The edgelits are wonderful but sometimes the paper can get stuck in the die or it doesn't cut properly.  I've figured a way to make the edgelits easy as pie to work with.  There's also a storage tip for all the extra die cuts laying around.

Thanks so much for visiting today!  I hope you enjoyed the video....happy stamping!!
